Foremost Farms’ president is chosen by the dairy farmer-owners who serve on the board of directors. Our leadership team is charged with producing world-class dairy products for customers, maintaining the cooperative’s financial strength – and providing a world of market access for member-owners.
A 35-year veteran of the dairy industry, Dave became the second president of Foremost Farms USA on September 1, 2001. Previously, he was vice president of Foremost Farms’ cheese division, responsible for overseeing plants that manufacture American and Italian cheeses for wholesale and foodservice markets.
Doug is vice president of marketing and technology. He leads the sales and marketing activities for cheese and ingredients as well as quality assurance, product development, customer service and demand planning functions. Doug began his career with Consolidated Badger Dairy Cooperative in 1984.
Joe is responsible for materials management, logistics, procurement and member services. He also served as Golden Guernsey Dairy Cooperative's president and division manager. Joe began his career in 1979, as a cheese plant manager for Wisconsin Dairies. He left in 1982 to run a dairy farm, and rejoined Wisconsin Dairies in 1986 as quality assurance manager.
Mike oversees all cheese and ingredient plant operations, purchasing, production services and regulatory compliance. He previously was vice president-member services and milk marketing. Born and raised on a Wisconsin dairy farm, Mike has owned a 50-cow dairy – and has a 25-year career in dairy processing.
Before joining Foremost Farms USA in 2007, Michael was the chief financial officer of Creekstone Farms Premium Beef, LLC. He also worked for Land O'Lakes, Arden Hills, Minn., for 11 years, starting as controller of the agricultural center division and being promoted to vice president-finance/operations of the ag and feed division.
Mike's background includes managing safety for a premier plant in Procter & Gamble's paper group, multiple plants for Frito-Lay Inc., 13 years at a large paper division in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and worldwide responsibility for safety and human resources at W.R.Grace, a chemical manufacturer.
