Privacy Policy

Foremost Farms USA is committed to protecting your privacy while you are browsing our web site. We do not collect, store, use or otherwise disclose your personal information. We will not release your personal data to anyone else without your consent.

However, we may collect in aggregate the following types of information to help us improve the design of the web site and its services:

  1. Traffic or Click-stream Data. Data about traffic and usage is not personally identifying or identifiable, and is not supplemented or combined with personally identifying or identifiable information. We may collect some of the traffic or click-stream data to identify browser functions, files (pages) visitors access, most frequently searched terms or similar information about usage to ensure that our services are operating correctly. For instance, we may collect data from your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to analyze paths through our web site to gather broad, demographic information (for example, number of visitors using Netscape Navigator versus Microsoft Internet Explorer).
  2. Cookies. Like many sites, we may collect information about visitors' online browsing habits using "cookies." Cookies are an anonymous way to survey how the web site is performing. Cookies do not and cannot contain viruses, nor can they interact with the rest of your computer. Cookies contain strictly machine identification information on how users interact with our site (such as how frequently they visit), but not any personal information. The machine information is sent directly to and only to our web servers. If a visitor sets his or her browser software to reject cookies, you may not be able to use all of the features of the web site, such as the secure portions of the web site. We might use cookies in the future to determine how many unique visitors we have, to analyze navigation paths through our site and to possibly maintain login information during a member-owner's secure session..
  3. Contact or Personal Information. We do not automatically collect contact or personal information through the web site. We will have such information only if you provide it to us voluntarily when you submit comments, request information from us or when you sign up for one of our surveys, newsletters or subscription services. Your contact information submitted with comments or requests is used only to respond to those issues; it is not stored or used in connection with traffic or click-stream data.

Our electronic-mail registration form requires member-owner contact information (such as name, e-mail address, postal address and other data). We use this contact information only to e-mail you the requested information (such as forward contracting prices), and to contact you when necessary. Subscribers may opt out of receiving electronic mail by notifying the sender or as otherwise outlined in the newsletter or subscription policies.

On occasion, we may conduct online surveys and request demographic information (zip code, age, income level, etc.) to help us design better ways to support our customers. The data would be used in aggregate form only; no individual's data would be released from these surveys.

Our privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary, and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by our members and customers.
